Utilization of EU funding for the realization the investment project in the municipality

This thesis deals with the use of EU funding for the realization of the investment project in the municipality. The main work is to analyze the project. The work is first discussed investment decisions and sources of funding. Familiarity with the regional and structural policy of the EU and individual European funds. In conclusion, it describes a specific project for the reconstruction of streets locality Masarykova - Krampolova in Sternberk, which describes the procedure and method of financing.

This diploma thesis explores the issue of project activity which has become a new challenge for school directors in EU member states for the last few years. The projects not only contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks of the educational process, but also to the development of the school environment. The aim of this thesis is to compare the use of project possibilities within the research sample of directors of secondary schools in the Czech Republic and France. Theoretical background specifies the project and its cycle together with the strategy, tools and subsidy opportunities within the educational and regional policy of the European Union. The empirical part investigates the differences between the activity and success in the use of grant funds within the sample of directors of Czech and French schools and views on the form of international cooperation in the Comenius sub-program of lifelong learning.
Analysis of drawing of the EU structural funds by public universities in the Czech Republic

This paper focuses on the analysis of absorption of EU structural funds by public universities in the Czech Republic in the period of 2007-2013 under the operational programmes Education for Competitiveness OP, Research and Development for Innovation OP, Prague Adaptability OP and Prague Competitiveness OP. Emphasis is put on the differences between Prague and outside Prague public universities, considering that Prague is the only Czech region that exceeds 75% of the average GDP per capita in the EU and the schools based in there have different access to the resources from the Structural Funds than outside Prague schools. The analysis compares the number of projects of Czech public universities, as well as the amount of funds drawn by them. There has been created a value used for comparison by applying the total amount of funds drawn by Prague and outside Prague public universities to students in these two areas. In the last chapter of the work, there are some possible effects of unequal distribution of resources and problems associated with their drawing outlined through a discussion with several experts. The Comparison of Attitudes of Ireland and Great Britain in Selected Aspects of the European Integration

The diploma thesis "Komparace postojů Irska a Velké Británie u vybraných aspektů Evropské integrace" deals with attitudes of Great Britain and Ireland to the politics of the European Union. Based on the available literature (using the descriptive and analytical method), the thesis proves how divergent or vice versa accordance are particular policies and approaches of these two states, whose past is completely different and has fundamental influence on contemporary access of these members to the European Union. In the history of Great Britain's and the European Union's relation it is always possible to find a certain fact that distinguished Britain from other partners in the European Union. It is then also different from the neighbouring Ireland. The diploma thesis analyses first of all the financial framework of the European Union, its regional and foreign policy. It is divided into five chapters - besides already mentioned regional, economic and foreign policy, the diploma thesis delas with the access of Ireland and Great Britain to European referendums, accentuated is first of all the referendum on the Treaty of Nice and the contemporary debate on the rejected Treaty of Lisbon. The influence of projects from Operational program "Podnikání a inovace" on the regional development of Tachov district The main goal of bachelor thesis is the research of influence of subsidies from operational program "Podnikání a inovace" on the regional development of Tachov district. The attention is engaged on description of peripheral Then there are promoted outlets of European regional policy including "operational programs" and their connection with czech developmental documents. Through impact of developmental projects on companies there is described influence of subsidies on local economy, particularly from standpoint of additional value. According to research there is described position of companies wthin value chains including influence of subsidies in upgrading of these positions. The main benefit of thesis is revelation of influence of research and development infrastructure on local economy and then, identification resources of another competitiveness.
